Since when does his opinion get in the way of a (potentially) good story?

Whose opinion? Thumber's? What story? The story of the first version of Ice Putt? Not much of a story. Can't even find a reference to it on this thing. How good of a story could that be then?

It's an ice league oral tradition. Stupidest game ever

Hey Dan,
Is there any water on the course that we might walk through? Large puddles etc?

Just to make a point, I expect that a doubles team of two San Antonio Spurs second stringers will show up in sandals and finish a stroke or two behind top spot.

Rolly I've been walking around in waterproof shoes. There is water in the creek and if you go in the pond it doesn’t matter what boots you have on. It is pretty dry on the course

Dan, I know this may be premature, but is or will there be a course map?

There isn't yet but there may very well be one in the new year.

The seventh Ice League of the 2012-2013 season held at Mountain! attracted 16 players.

In the end it was the team of Cyle and Mark that tore up the technical Mountain course with a blazing 44.

1. Cyle Prange & Mark Atos (44)
2. Shane Kilpatrick & Steve Crane (48 )
2. Ryan Briggs & Alex Weirdsma (48 )
4. Andrew Vallee & Errol Melancon (49)
4. Dan Phillips & Dan Dolliver (49)
6. Jeff Lariviere & Ben Houle (50)
7. Claus Reitlingshoefer & Holly DeCoste (56)
8. Ken Little & Matt Latreille (58 )

Thanks to everyone who showed up on a cold and rainy league, 16 people at Mountain is nothing to sneeze at.
Huge thanks to Dan and Sam for being great hosts.

IL standings will be posted as soon as I get them uploaded.

Ice League shifts over to the capable hands of Ben Svetkoff who will run Ice League for the next 3 weeks. Ice League continues this Saturday, December 15th is at Vincent Massey Park using a special layout.
