The 12th annual Ottawa Ice Bowl tournament will be held at the
Kanata Disc Golf Course in Beaverbrook park (Kanata, ON)
Saturday February 9th, 2013. Save the date!
As in previous years, this event is a charitable fundraiser for the Ottawa Food Bank.
Last year we were able to make a donation of over $3,152 and over 620 lbs of food thanks to the combined totals of both Ice League and the Ice Bowl.
Last year's event was one of the most successful Ice Bowls in the world we were
18th in total cash donations worldwide and 2nd in Canada.
After the Ice Bowl tournament you are invited to join us at our Ice Auction
that will be held at a The Burbs MORE INFO.
The Ice Auction rewards those who have contributed and attended Ice League and the Ice Bowl with a big selection of prizes. These prizes are bid on and auctioned off not with money but with Ice Bucks.
Ice Bucks are earned many different ways as I will list;
-Ice League attendance (Top 6 in points get bonus Ice Bucks)
-Ice Putt attendance (Top 6 in points get bonus Ice Bucks)
-Ice Bowl food donations
-Auction Prize donations
-Weekly Ice Putt winners

8:30am - Ice Putt

9:45am - Players Meeting

12:00pm - Lunch

Cost:
$40 + 1 bag of non-perishable food items*
(Current 2013 ODGC Members get a $5 discount)
*Cash donations will be accepted instead of a food donation
$5 extra for a 6 pack of IB Mulligans

I was thinking of going a tad minimalist this year and go with a disc, toque and some handwarmers. |
