I'm toying with the idea of going to the Breezy Trees at White Spruce on 21 July.
Has anyone ever played this event or course? I'm just looking for some feedback to see if it's a worthwhile event to play. _________________ "This course favors lefties/forehanders. No it doesn't, it's just that every hole isn't tailored for your huk and pray hyzer style." - BrotherDave, DGCR |

I've played a Breezy Trees or two (or four). The event itself was always top notch. It's a wooded course so expect the odd bad bounce. I haven't been there in years, but I would guess they've done some work on it. I'd play it if I was able. _________________ Boyle says BOOM! |

Some great discussion there. Thanks JAB. _________________ "This course favors lefties/forehanders. No it doesn't, it's just that every hole isn't tailored for your huk and pray hyzer style." - BrotherDave, DGCR |

Most of us were noobs when we started.
6 months before that thread I was playing frolf at JCP for the first time in my flip flops.
Then I entered my first tourny the 06' LNF where I got my money's worth in # of shots;
Andros - 115 - 110 -- 225
It's been a fun ride so far..... |

Here's how old I am; I thought "noob" was short for "newbie". What does it mean? _________________ Boyle says BOOM! |

Yep. It's been a while though. It's a fun course for sure, but get ready for tree banging and beating up you discs. They've put a lot of work into it over the years. _________________ If you can't win the event in regulation, try, try, try again. |

I think I played the brezzy trees 3 or 4 times (before it was called battle of the badge). It's a really fun wooded course. _________________ Cell phones make it easy to communicate with everybody except the people you're currently with.

It's a great technical course. Most holes don't require more than a mid, but some lines are crazy tough for 200-250' shots and make them short par 4's. It is the kind of course where a great short game will completely equalize you against a field of big arms. There is only one hole to open up on and it's about 550' and wide open fairway.
However, I would not recommend the course for Andros as it would be too frustrating and challenging. |

Is anyone going to this? I want to but I doubt I can get Friday off work so I would have to go up after work. |

You should go.
The Brampton crew are a great bunch and Tibor as a TD would guarantee good times. |
