Just in case Mr. Camping is right, the player leading the PC Points series on May 21, 2011 will win. All the more reason to play in the Ice Bowl and the Oonie (the player with the most wins in OMPL V by this time will earn the PC points for OMPL V).

If May 22 does happen to come around, we'll just play out the season like nothing happened (which actually happened, nothing).

Nice, you can never be too prepared.

I'd hate to see the world end and not know who won the 2011 Pres. Cup. smile

On May 20th, we should declare an interim winner just in case. This way, he/she will get one day to bask in the glory of being the last President Cup winner on earth.

History indicates government will destroy earth before a god will. I'm going out on a limb, but I think we are ok.

You seem to forget the story of Noah.

That article was funny, (could not read it at work).
Is it redundant to send tv camera's to view the end of the world? Either it happens and no one can see, or its a fail and the cameras were there for nothing? (watching the alleged story of Nohah now)

Best part of that article:

Quote:
This is not the first time Camping has made a bold prediction about Judgment Day.

On Sept. 6, 1994, dozens of Camping's believers gathered inside Alameda's Veterans Memorial Building to await the return of Christ, an event Camping had promised for two years. Followers dressed children in their Sunday best and held Bibles open-faced toward heaven.

But the world did not end. Camping allowed that he may have made a mathematical error. He spent the next decade running new calculations, as well as overseeing a media company that has grown significantly in size and reach.

I would love to hear Ricky's explanation of how the earth went from a lifeless planet hostile to life, to housing organism's with complicated DNA structures capable of natural adaptation which over time created life as we know it today. Dont get me wrong, I dont really believe in religion, but atheism is a religion I wont accept either.

FamilyRadio.com has put up a billboard on Walkley "warning", or threatening, the Judgement Day.

I wonder what their advetising budget is? Did they blow the next two years' budget on this event, knowing that they won't need it?

A billboard preaching the end of the Earth. Not really family orientated.

I always found it interesting that Christians believe God created the universe from nothing. Scientists get all up in arms saying no, it was actually a Big Bang (which they can't explain). I am not religious at all but I always found this part of the creation story so similar its ridiculous.
