Wanna bet someone has this as a tatoo? And you could probably see it at Calypso? |
Where are the rules in the PDGA guide about tatoos that are overtly rude? _________________ Boyle says BOOM! |

LOL!
I was looking at DISCussion, and there was a thread about discs with nude images on them. Everyone was stuck on associating them (or better put, disassociating them) with courtesy violations. It was a dead thread. _________________ Privacy is a means to democracy, not an end in itself. - unknown

I find it impolite to state that my "nice"ing has powers over anything. |
It has power over his mental game if it bothers him and the player has asked you to stop, I believe is the point. Nobody said "nice"ing had "powers" over the flight path or the disc.
It has nothing to do with you, except that your an ass if you keep doing it or assume that because it does'nt bother you it should'nt bother anyone else. |

He never asked to stop. Just blamed me for his crappy lie because I "nice"d it, which yes, would assume that I did that with my "nice"ing. I've never been asked to stop "nice"ing a disc. It's all good until their disc hits the branch they threw it at.
I would agree that if asked to stop doing something and I continued, that would be a d!ck move. But the ass is the one who throws a great shot, and someone on the card acknowledges the beauty of it and maintains a positive and encouraging environment on the card, and the thrower BLAMES the end result of the disc rolling down the hill on the person who said "nice". That's the true ass. _________________ Boyle says BOOM! |

My experience has been this... A disc in mid air may look fantastic, but that has little to do with the lie that it will end up with. Inevitably saying "nice" or "good shot" while the disc is still in flight will cause it to drastically flip to the right or fade short to the left. It's simple physics. Beware of the force people.
Just wait for discs to come to rest before comment. Otherwise the disc WILL hear you and WILL make you WRONG on principle alone!
The shark/bear/squid monster will be hired on as tournament director for all upcoming ODGC events, so adjust you conduct accordingly. |
