The Tuesday night league continues on May 19 at Camp Fortune. Action will be from the short pads.
All disc golfers are welcome regardless of ability. Even if you've never played in an ODGC event or tournament, we would like to have you join us for League Nights.
Directions to the course are available if you click here.
Quality footwear is required at Camp Fortune. Wear shoes appropriate for hiking on uneven terrain.
We'll be gathering near the chalet in the upper parking lot (near the entrance to the main lodge). We aim to tee off at 6:15pm, so:
Be at the hill by 6:00 to register!
Do your best to bring exact change. Fees are $5. ODGC memberships will be available as well.
This is your last chance to purchase a Tuesday Night Season Pass. I'll honour entry fees paid in weeks 1 and 2 as a discount on your pass.
As a bonus, I'll be offering everyone that attends this event an official copy of the rules of disc golf just for registering.
See you on Tuesday!

I ask everyone to take note of the start time this week: The round begins at 6:15, so be at the hill before 6:00 to register.
This is the earliest in the season that we've ever played a league night event at Camp Fortune (previous record: May 30, 2006). A prompt start to the round is essential to finishing in daylight.
If you are committed to attending this event, but you aren't sure you'll be able to arrive before 6:00, please take advantage of the early registration option and either PM me before noon on May 19, or have someone that you know is going to be on time register for you.

I am really looking forward to this league event.
Odds are good that myself and Stacie will be on the same card, judging by
the QB standings and the the format that week.
That means we might get to play our OMPLIII match!!!
I recall seeing signs on the parkway about lane reductions because of construction.
Keep this in mind if you use the Ottawa parkway to get to Fortune. |

Looking at the handicaps amoung those players in the QB challenge, OMR, you're the first guy to fall into the "B" pool if one of stacie, andrew, or gavin doesn't play tonight. If all four are here, you're in the "A" pool. If two or more don't make it, there will be only one pool. |

Bring your brellies. Been watching the radar and it looks like it will be a damp one tonight. _________________ If you can't win the event in regulation, try, try, try again. |

That weather radar isn't picking up rain; it's tracking black flies.
Expect to play hurry-up style golf on 2, 11-13, and 18 unless you feel like donating blood.
Forecast this morning was for a trace of rain this evening with POP of 40%. It never rains at Fortune. |

Nice eye on the weather update, Roxie.
POP is now 70% this evening, and less than 1mm of rain expected. |

That's what I always tell Michele. I'll get a call saying " Are you going to discgolf tonight, it's raining here". And I always reply "It never rains on the golf course honey". _________________ If you can't win the event in regulation, try, try, try again. |

Well according to the radar, rain should be hitting now. Good news is that the heavy stuff will be done before our night begins. _________________ If you can't win the event in regulation, try, try, try again. |

Great. That'll really moisten up the ground and get the swarms all up in tizzy. _________________ Cell phones make it easy to communicate with everybody except the people you're currently with.

Ha, ha. We ended up having a rules discussion in the car ride to the bar, and Paulie didn't even have a personal copy. |
