League Night Finals was a rainy event, but participation was good for those in the TOSS 2008 Finals.

Adjusted Round Results for the tournament will be posted here in the coming days.

Season Award Winners were as follows:

Most Improved Player Award:
This award is presented to the regular participant who, through the course of the season, has the steepest decline in differentials as determined by root mean square analysis. Recall that the lower your differential, the closer to scratch your game was. This year's award was without contest.

Congratulations, Shane Kilpatrick! Your improvement almost tripled the next closest competitor.

Performance Player Award:
This award is presented to the regular participant who finished with the lowest adjusted round results over two rounds at League Night Finals. This year's performance player marked an adjusted score that blew away the rest of the field.

Congratulations, Geoff Penton! Your performance was extraordinary.

Season Champion Award:
This award is presented to the regular participant who had the lowest average differential over the entire regular season. This year's season champion was so closely contested that the difference between first place and second amounted to an average of less than one one-hundredth of a stroke. That works out to a difference of about a single putt all season.

Congratulations again, Geoff Penton! Your's was the score to beat this year.

That's the end of the TOSS 2008 season.

Thanks are extended to all of those that made running this league such a blast again this season.

A special thanks goes to Jeff Lariviere, who ran six of the events this season, and who made reporting the scores so easy for me when I was unable to make it to an event.

Congratulations, again, to this year's winners!
