Even if it's not a CV, it's just rude if you believe it actually offends people but do nothing to alleviate the offence.

So what happens next time you are stuck with Pig Pen?
I think that if the person has been told, and does not do anything about it, he should'nt be allowed to play period.
Just the fact that you told him, is a feat in itself...I don't know if I could tell someone "hey buddy...please do something about that" and for them to reply "it's too bad for you" and not even consider the inner turmoil you must have gone through to even mention it, let alone having to come up with, what's left... disgusted

Not if the reasons are medical. Hygene is personal.

it ain't medical. it's their personal choice to smell bad and do nothing about it but be a prick and deflect the problem to others.
in the tournament we were in, i did appropriately make it clear that i was giving them a wide berth due to their odour...not in any attempt to make them feel bad (eventhough they should), but to simply call a spade a spade and gie myself a more bearble experience.
if anything this thread will hopefully get the person to realize that their decision has consequences, such as being 'overlooked' when invites to play are made, gaining an ungainly reputation internationally, having public forum threads about them started (you know who you are) and having to defend themselves for something SO EASY to do something about, every time they go out on the course! Hey man, you wanna stink, go ahead, but be prepared to live with the shitty rep!
that's all i gots Razz
