I tend to throw shortish drives (90 yards max - if lucky) and would like to pick up an XL. What weight driver should I get? Is lighter better for my feable arm?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Well it all depends on what you’re comfortable with. A lighter driver (165-169g) will go a little farther however they are much harder to control and usually break right much earlier in their flight (overstable). A heavier disc (175g) will not go as far but are generally easier to go in a straight line only fading left much later in its flight (less overstable).

I don't know how experienced a golfer you are but I would recommend as your first driver a 175g disc. What you loose in distance you will easily gain in a straighter flight path.

Good luck and see you on the course.

Steve
