I would like to formally lodge a complaint to the TD of the Tree-oh-Challenge. Ya that's you Donny boy. I was reading along at the new site for the tourney when I come across the CTP and long drive section and was wondering why. Why would you put long drive on #1 when most people(those who don't throw swill) use some kind of approach shot. Why not #2 or #10 or #12 where you could really let loose on one. Any thoughts from fellow golfers.

Release the Hounds!

As much as I hate to admit it, Shaggy is right. People are consistently driving to, and beyond, the hole. It should be on 2 or 12.

Or six.

It takes a lot more skill to put it long on six and/or ten. It requires the perfect marriage of control and might.

Twelve and two are just about throwing it really hard. Not as exciting if you ask me.

I would have preferred it as a suggestion instead of a complaint.

These things are flexible... no reason to slag me about it.

I'll remove the numbers from the tournament information, and make it a surprise at the tournament. Your constructive comments will be taken into consideration.

I was thinking of straight away drives like 2 and 12 for measurability reasons. I figured a dog leg like 6 or 10 might be harder to measure.

i think that you guys are discussing apples and oranges. and you're all on crack.
the longest drive should be 2 because it takes more control to drive well because of the wind.
and closest to the pin should be on 6 because of the relative challenge of the hole.

do i have to do everything around here?!?!

Make the closest to the pin on #9. Very tough shot to get near the basket but highly rewarding.

Longest drive. #12 has been done before and will be many more times as a longest drive. I prefer #2 due to the elevation changes and the annoying wind.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Keep it coming.

I'll be taking team registrations for the Tree-Oh and other suggestions you may have at the Plaid Jacket on Saturday.
