Registration note: The event price was updated today (July 28,2015). The registration price for the event above now INCLUDES hst making the event cost the same as the poster above. ($88.50 + 11.50 HST and $110.62 + 14.38 HST)
The ODSA has to charge a sales tax on the service it is selling. Me (as TD) is providing that service and the event pricing I quote above includes the applicable taxes. So we as golfers are now not paying tax twice on the event.
Mr. Lowcock will handle the corrections/refunds to those who already registered.

Didn't realize I didn't have a dedicated thread for this yet.
Registration is open. Would be nice to see some o-town registrations flowing in.
Cheers,
John |

Just a quick question, have those that qualified through various tournaments committed to their participation? I was wondering because I was next in line for a few, but was wondering if the qualifiers don't go, is the spot just given up or moved along?
Cheers

I actually got a message from Claus that I had a spot, but may have lost it because I didn't get back to him by Wednesday (DANG, I should check my messages on the forum). |

I need to organize child care for this but should have no trouble finding enough DVD's to make this happen.
If you know you will be going, get your name on the list as the numbers are currently low. Once people see others signing up more will join.
I was expecting one of the most competitive AM1 fields in Ottawa history. There are some blazing AM1 players on the Ontario scene right now.
I am 90% certain I will be there.

Yes but you have to go the website and fill out all the stuff and bail before checkout. |

Players pack info and some payout info have been updated on the DGO forum.
.....
Players pack details:
Discs
Pro Divisions - 1 x Prodigy Series 750
- 1 x Daredevil Disc
AM Division - 2 x Prodigy 300 - 400 Series
- 1 x Daredevil Disc
All Players
- 1 x Prodigy OGIO 108 Sidebar Polo Shirt
- 1 x ODSA Contrast Tipped Cap
- 1 x Fruit Of The Loom sofspin Hooded Sweatshirt with event silk screen
- 1 x Cinch Bag
Over $130 Retail Value.
Added Cash details
A minimum of $3000 cash will be added to the Pro division payouts. That money will be distributed proportionally across the 3 divisions based on registration numbers in each division. (ie. if half the pro registration are in your division then $1500 would be added to your division). Some incentive to get your buds who qualified in your division to register.
Pro and AM payouts
Subject to small changes as event expenses come in but:
1) Approximately 60% of a Pro entry is currently projecting to be added to that division payout over and above the $3000 added cash.
2) Amateurs are not trophy only. Currently $15 of an amateur entry is projecting to payout in that respective division. You can can take Merch credit with the vendors who will be on site (Ultimate Disc Golf store, Tinlid Disc Golf, Daredevil)
I just want to emphasize that everything is being done to put as much value possible back to the players while running a championship event. I always try and be about the players when running an event. |

I can also apply your credit to the camping fee as well.
I can also have your cash available for you at check in to the provicials.

Just a little reminder to my O-town peeps planning on attending.
You need to complete the registration at ODSA http://ondisc.org/e/2015-opdgc AND make full payment. You can pay that on the registration site OR can avoid the website fee and pay me directly.
Registration closes Sept 7 at midnight.
No payment the day of the event will be accepted by me.
Every day that goes by means a lesser and lesser chance of YOUR Players pack being available for YOU at the tournament. The people that are currently in will be good to go.
Hope that makes sense.
Cheers,
John |

I am still trying to work out child care for this. Do you know what tee pads will be played or how many holes each day. If I come I will show up for the golf only and leave as soon as I am done so knowing the amount of golf each day could help me plan for this event. _________________ http://www.odgc.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10254 |

No they haven't been decided but it's Ettyville. Plan for an extremely long day of golf. As the times come up I'll post them up BUT they'll be only start times. The rounds will take what they take. Weather, Players, etc.
A minimum of 27 holes a day.
The pads I think I have decided on are:
MPO, MPM, AM1 will go from the longs both days.
FA1,FA2, and AM2 will not see the long tee's either day.
All subject to change but plan for a long day. The field size is not known just like your presence. hint hint. How would you plan?
and I wanted to add that's not a big poke at you Kyle. Registration closes Monday September 7th at midnight. 4 days before the event. Expect much of the final details to happen in that 4 days. I'm not holding back I'm just not able to confirm things until field sizes are known and the such.
