So there is a new liftee shed at the bottom of the magic carpet with a nice control box and halogen light on the side facing the short tee.
Darko suggested we offer to purchase a light cage for the light on behalf of the club, and maybe something to protect the control box.
Moving the short tee is also an option.

Regardless of any decision on changes to the hole, it would be a good idea to move on the cage idea, as it shows that we are proactive and a good partner to our friends at Camp Fortune. It would save it for the current placement of the shorts, and likely would help keep things safe for a future position of the teepad.
It should be mounted with some sort of hinge though or placed otherwise so that the lights can still be easily changed by their staff.
Who knows where we could purchase such a cage? _________________ "If everybody is thinking alike, then somebody is not thinking." - Gen. George S. Patton Jr. |

I would try Home Depot, home
Hardware or Rona. Canadian Tire may have something that works as well. _________________ Here's lookin' at you kid |

I buy stuff like that for work. I can't think of the manufacturer at the moment, but if you have access to a security catalogue, you should find something. _________________ 1020 rated lunch preparationist |

Ok.. So after most of the snow has vanished , we we're teeing off at least 75 feet lower down slope than where the tee pad actually is .... we we're on the wrong side of that little caboose...Mental note for next year..
I don't think there's a need to find a cage to cover the light , but if I find one , I'll install one . In order to hit the light we need The Nicest to completely grip-lock a lefty backhand 45 degrees into the light ..
Let me know what you think when you tee of on CF#18 shorts .. _________________ Just one more Wishbone ! |
