Ottawa's Ice League continues this weekend
Sat. Jan. 3rd, 2015
at Jacques Cartier Park.

THINGS TO KNOW:
Here it is the Jewel in the crown of the Ottawa ice league. We will be playing the classic North side Triple crown. 27 holes of red, blue and yellow tees. I will be out there at 10:30 setting up. Registration will start at 11:30. Tee off at 12:00. Please show up on time. This event is usually very well attended and it will make my life easier if there are not a lot of stragglers at noon.

Park on the side streets near the north side. The parking lots of the park will be closed

Looks like they are making snow in JCP.

Ribbons may be necessary.

That's most likely the other part of JCP near the marina.

The weather is calling for snow so ribbons are strongly suggested for Saturday.

If the following Ottawa discgolfers show up to JCP on Saturday, Daredevil has both a Sabertooth and a Mammoth to thank them for their support in Ben-e's inaugural (VM+A+JC)/P:

Mike Adams
Aaron James
Serge Seguin
Jeff Lariviere
Ben Svetkoff
Rob Hale

The Sabertooth and the Mammoth are the newest discs to the Daredevil line. The Mammoth comes in the white Flex Performance plastic and the Sabertooth is in the yellow High Performance plastic.

Both are overstable drivers, designed to fight the wind. The Sabertooth consistently travels 20-30 feet farther than the Mammoth. The Mammoth has more of a turn, allowing for some sweet flick S-turns, and both have a hard finish.

When compared to a Star Firebird, the Sabertooth flies the same distance, but with a more hyzer feel to the throw. Thrown RHBH, the Firebird will glide/land 10-15' more to the left.

I also have Ogopogos for the following:
Holly
Phillips
Rico
Leppy
Kid
Pytel
Beny-b (Montreal)

(The Ogopogo (and Buffalo) has a different nose than the Mammoth and Sabertooth, which share the same profile)

I am glad we got the snow. Last year it was four feet deep.

I forgot to mention to the peeps with young kids that the black sheep is doing a thing tomorrow for the kiddos. http://www.theblacksheepinn.com/eventperformances.asp?evt=499

These events are a blast always.

Man that was fun . Much Thanks to Ben et al who set it up. What did we have? 20 players?

And our timing was perfect. Another hour and discs would have been disappearing in the storm

A whopping 22 people showed up for the greenest conditions ever for a JCP New Year Triple Crown. Kyle and Mike Mc went away in first with $70.
Second place went to the Andros and Allysha $30.

Kyle & Mike Mc 65
Andros & Allysha 67
Aaron & Briggs 69
Rico & Steve P 69
BBP & Ben H 69
Cyle & Ben S 69
Alex & Serge 72
Shane & Steph 73
Mike A & Mark A 74
OMR & Rob H 74
Claus & Steve C 75

Thanks to all those who came out to my League events. Huge thanks to those who made it out to all three and big wet sloppy kisses to those who showed up early to help set up.
