|
|
This week, we're headed East, with | TOSS 2014 [5] / QB Challenge 2.2 | May 27 | at Ettyville SuperSpin (In-In layout). | All disc golfers are welcome! | Tournament Central is near the barn, and | The round starts at 6:00. | BE AT THE COURSE BY 5:45 PM TO REGISTER! | Fees are $5 Exact change appreciated. Green Fees are $5 | This week's TD: Mark Atos |
Details about TOSS 2014 [5]:TOSS is operating an Ace Pool as a fundraiser for the Capital Classic. $2.00 gets you in the pool, with $1.00 from each entry going to the Capital Classic. Ace pools not won carry over to the following week's TOSS event. See Mark Atos for more details.- Directions to the Ettyville Super Spin Disc Golf Course are here: Directions
1. We will be playing holes 10-18 twice, once from the Short, and then from the Mid tees.
Out of bounds:
There are three considerations for O/B tonight.
1. Hole 18: The ditch in front of the green. If your disc comes to rest inside the long grass that defines the ditch, you are O/B.
2. Hole 18: In or over the long grass schnarb on the right side of the fairway and green.*
3. Crop OB: TBD and announced at the player's meeting.
Follow the PDGA rules for O/B.
* Long throws into the field beyond the green are NOT out of bounds. _________________ Go Sens!

Please note that payouts tomorrow night will be delayed while Paul puts the finishing touches on a significant update to the handicap database. All overdue payouts (week 3 adjusted score, week 4 adjusted score, and week 5 adjusted score to date) will be paid out at TOSS events subsequent to the release of the database update.
Thanks everyone for your patience.
Cheers! _________________ Go Sens! |

Cam and I gave the back nine a decent grooming last night. Should play really well.
There are no crops in the ground yet so OB will be less of a concern. TD will confirm tonight but I think he's currently got it right with just OB on 18.
18 was lengthened a bit to have more of a par 5 feel. Slightly different mid tee's for 13 but other then that it's pretty much the same.
Black flies have decided to join in the action too. We got it all.

FYI for tonight.
May 27th
- Coolers will be in effect.
- BBQ will be in effect. Hamburgers. We're going to try and get people to pre-order / pre-pay then we can hopefully have them cooked and ready for when the cards start rolling in.
- Ettyville Season pass will be for sale for anyone interested for $60. Covers your TOSS green fee's and $10 off the Ettyville championship currently. The pass also covers all your non-organized play at Ettyville for the season. I'll allow some progressive green fee's until the second TOSS to allow people to make up their mind if it works for them.
-Mosquitos will be in effect. It's a bumber crop this year. They'll be something to deal with during and after the round. I recommend taking bug spray with you. I'll put a couple coils burning in the shed for the evening that may help.
-There is a portapotty on the green of 15. Symbolic to my putting skills but should be functional just the same. |

I am in for a TOSS.
John are you around earlier than 6? I might come early and get in a warm up round or at least a few holes if that's all right
If anyone else wants to come early let me know what time you want to meet.
I also have pond discs for Surge, Ben, Atos and Steve that ill bring |

Dan, if I was smart enough to leave it in the car, I have your Callaway jacket from Team Kup last year, courtesy of Chris Morrisson. If I didn't, I'll drop it by your place next time I'm headed down to my parents' place. _________________ Go Sens! |

Just show up anytime Dan. Disc golfers always welcome. My dad may be around sdoing some farming but he knows we are golfing tonight. I should be home around 4:30 but probably can't do a warm up round with cooler preparations and what not. |

I can "what not" with the best of them.
Dry, Dry, Dry. Unless it rains. All standing water is gone.
I haven't been this excited to play golf since you set the fire crackers off in Rolly's tin kitten in OMR's garage!!! |
