I will be arriving from anouther angle so I cannot offer rides there. Rides back to town after the round are no problem. |

What's the state of the ground up at Alcove?
Firm, dry, soft, muddy, lingering snow ? ? ?
Trying to plan suitable footwear... |

There was no snow a week or two ago.
It looked pretty dry, only wet in the low areas.
But with all the rain today and tomorrow I imagine it will be a Mudslide. |

So, since its going to be a rainy day, my folks would prefer if we not park on the grass.
So, if everyone could put in as close to the house as possible (go left rather than right onto the grass like normal), that would be really swell.
Also, the delicious French Fry shake by my house opened last week. If people want to get greasy hot grub at the shack, and cold beer at the Dep, and regroup back at my house- 18 Elmdale, after the afternoon round, they're more than welcome.
I'll have the prizes at Alcove, just in case the general consensus is that people just want to go home after a long day. |

Coming in at lunch it was Thumber 56, Carl, Euro and Alex 57, Ken 58, claus, dros and Gavin 60
After round 2 it was thumber 58 (collapse f'n #4), claus and dros 53!, carl and euro 60, ken 62, Gavin 66 and Alex 55 for the win
Very consistent 2nd round alex. Solid, boring golf. Put it on the green, hit the tonal, move on.
Congrats Alex! _________________ meh |

Much thanks to Stace and Claus for a well run event, the Syvers for letting us use their home, the landowners for allowing us to play the the greatest tonal course ever, and Billie's for good beer and food afterwards _________________ meh |

Nice Alex!
A 57 and 55, same score that won with last year. . Nice one Alex!
I shot them in a different order though...
Gavin; 55/57 plus 1 playoff hole in 2013
Andros with a 55/55 in 2012.
BBP with a 54/60 in 2011
Clause and Andros tied the course record (I think) in the second round yesterday with a 53. With much more rain fall than the first round, nice shooting. |
