The real "evolution in disc golf" is the use of a Big Voice for a commercial.

Isn't there another basket on the market with a similar chain assembly? Someone in the Club got to play it at a Worlds.

Regardless the Mach X does look fairly similar to the Vortex.

The funny thing is, one of the criticisms of DG is that putting is too easy and one of the reasons it doesn't go mainstream

I don't agree with that contention, but its out there. I believe there is a video of the Beard discussing it once

The Big Voice doesn't play disc golf. He says "disc golf" like the bears in the Gobbles video.

I'd say it's the putting terrain that is too easy.

Ironically, it's probably the lack of mainstream that makes it appealing to those who play.
