I have a friend who won't play at Fortune because he believes that there is poison ivy on the hill. He reacts rather severely to it. Can anyone confirm or deny its existence there?

Haven't seen any. If it is there, it should have shed its leaves by now. Darco?

I am highly sensitive to poison ivy and have awful severe extended medication-requiring skin rashes on very light exposure to it.

That said, my antennae for poison ivy are always UP, and to date, I have yet to see any poison ivy at Camp Fortune over the last 10 or so years.

The Canadian, on the other hand, where we played the Plaid, had loads of poison ivy in the wooded areas by the fairways.

I'll echo the previous comments. I'm über sensitive to it and I've neither seen nor caught any since playing there.

In the past decade, I've been on every square inch of that mountain and I've never had a problem.
