Lollies

- Twirly TDing his last Plaid; not that I want it to be his last, but he's done it for 10 years and kept the integrity of the event. Thank you, Twirly.
- Ben-e for making sure the course goes in and that the Super 6 layout is installed and ready to play. The amount of under the radar work that Ben does for events in this region is unmatched.
- Andros for taking the reigns and helping The Busiest Guy in Disc Golf get this event at the level its at.
- The best Canadian Plaid weather EVER!
- The wind
- The Course; hole 14's change was necessary and it worked. Roxie threw the throw and it was awesome to watch.
- The course signage; we purchased these for our demos and they were great at the Canadian. Heard several white ballers comment on the "Watch for Flying Discs" signs. Great advertising.
- John Pytel for taking down Ettyville and transporting the baskets to the Canadian and then bringing them back to Ettyville.
- Andy Morrisey (ReMax) for continuing to support the Plaid financially
- All the other sponsors (OD Tour, UDGS, Ken Little, Rolly, etc) for making the Plaid even better
- All of the carts carrying baskets, and the quick uninstall of the course. Good on all of you!
- Seeing players at the Plaid that I've never seen before...again!
- My discs survived the Gobbler cart.
- Weird-e's girlfriend, Holly. She fished one (of 6) Firebirds out of the drink for me.

Lemons

- The Quebec Provincials scheduled on the same weekend, when they knew the Plaid date. The Quebec players would absolutely lose it if they came to the Plaid. I'm working with the Quebec powers that be to solve this for next year.

Lollies
Carl's unmatched hospitality.
New people discovering the game.
New faces in the super 6.
New Prodigy disc (who knew?)
The abject civility of the bar cart.

Lemons
Saying goodbye to the longest serving disc in my bag after flying too close to the pond on wings of lead. I'm already over it.

You already thought you lost that Viking...watch it come back.

Wonder what it would take to get permission to look for discs?

probably once they close for the season they would let a small recovery crew go in

I'd be interested. Lost my bread-and-butter Wraith on my last drive of the day into the No. 5 pond. It was likely the disc in my bag with the most "air-miles" logged, would love to have it back.

Re: edit comment by me on post above. My mistake, I clicked edit instead of quote, and somehow the system let me edit Thumber's post...

Lollipops:

Everything about that day, except the triple circle 11 and 3 lost discs during my first round on hole 16.

Lemons:

I'd be interested in looking for lost discs too.
