I really liked 5. I loved 3. 7 is perfect as always.

17 is ridiculous. There are basically two lines there now. Thumber, and Tomahawk. HATE. 2/10 would not buy from again.

Last time i was there the leaves weren't on yet and there was a beauty low line under the canopy

There has never been a thumber line there as the disc will want to crash the woods due to the elevation change, unless that has changed as well

The bent trees are lower and seem to have more leaves now. Almost no line in there.

Last year, a baseball thumber from the right side of the teebox up the left side of the fairway, thrown low, would put the disc on the right side of the plateau beyond the swamp, perfect for an easy 3.

At least, that's how I did it. When I could throw thumbers.

The combination of leaves and rain last night meant that standing at the tee, you couldn't even see the plateau from the tee.

With the arch-tree across 17 extra low due to the wet conditions, an effective shot was a kind of air-bounce with a mid-stability driver. I made the plateau with a line that was even lower than it needed to be.

Carl reported getting all the way down the hill past the basket with such a shot.

And it was very lucky. Skipped up by the log and landed at he bottom of the hill, 30 feet past the basket. Of course missed the deuce.

My strategy of throwing it straight into the woods and taking a four was a success. In a manner of speaking.

I don't see a problem with that.

Those trees on 17 gots to go. I didn't mind them earlier in the year. I'd say they didn't change the shot you need to make, just the consequences for missing it.

Now though, they hang so low that there really isn't much to throw at.

Yup, Carl hit the shot. I saw the line, just missed my throw. I can't really blame the course for swiftly changing my round and score from pretty darn good to mediocre, that one is on me.

As a shooter that has a tendency to miss a lot...I would not mind a bigger window Very Happy
