Yes I will have the 15th anniversary discs with me tomorrow. |
A couple from the CF/Chelsea area will be making a trip up to The GOAT tomorrow to purchase 2 sets from Andros. Be on the lookout for another Jeff and maybe a Julie.
Good luck all. _________________ Boyle says BOOM! |

Have a great day at the GOAT everyone. Genuinely dissapointed that I can't make it out this year. |

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Car-T-P this evening. Because of your massive desire to break things, you helped raise $80.00 for the Capital Classic.
Congratulations to Ken Darcovich, who was the first to put a disc in the window, but bigger congratulations to Andrew Kauffman, who stepped up and threw two in a row, resulting in the gracious bow-out of Ken.
Andrew has won himself a free entry into this year's Capital Classic, June 22 and 23. Way to go Andrew! _________________ Go Sens! |

He jammed them BACK to BACK,.....like a champ!
Since I was unable to say so at the event to everyone, I have had a great time in Canada so far and Camp Fortune was no different. Thanks to Mike for running a very enjoyable and fun event for all.
Also the Car-TP was awesome.....just didn't want to get too crazy with it!
Anywho, I had a blast, enjoyed meeting everyone (esp the cardmates) and hopefully we will see each other this upcoming weekend.
Peace

...And how beautiful it was. Flick off the tee, and I was standing on the crest of the hill on hole 3's side of the basket, spotting. I could have reached out and touched the disc as it flew by me, but didn't, to watch it elegantly fade back in toward the basket and drop over the crest, only to smash centre chains, about 10 inches above the rim. Perfect throw, perfect result. Congratulations Gav!
Also, holy crap, I finished T-7? Yowza.
Also, since I'm slightly obsessive, I did the adjusted scores calc based on TOSS 3 results handicaps (TOSS 4 is with Paul, should be up soon). Based on those handicaps, unless Steve Crane or Rob Hale shot 128 or lower, adjusted scores of 94.8 and 98.6 by Atos and Wierdsma win the CQ spots at the finale.
The next closest potential qualifiers are Andrew Vallee, who's handicap would have to increase by 2.5 as a result of TOSS 4, and Andrew Kauffman, who's handicap would have to increase by 3.4 as a result of TOSS 4 to beat the existing result of Alex. Of course, this is dependent on the handicap change of Mark and Alex as well.
Math (and speculation) are fun! _________________ Go Sens! |

Mark, the odsa passes are not based on total score, it is one for round 1 (shorts) and 1 for round 2 (long). _________________ Frolfing happily along. |

Ah, dammit... Off to recalculate. |
Round 1: Atos adjusted 44.4, Weirdsma 45.8, Fisher 46.7.
Round 2: Atos 50.4, Vallee 50.8, Weirdsma 54.8.
All numbers based on TOSS 3 handicaps, and only include players at TOSS 3.
Wildcard: Drazen in Round 1 adjusted to 45. My handicap would have to decrease by .7 to lose the Round 1 spot. Julien in Round 2 adjusts to 52.2, probably no effect on Atos v. Andros for the spot.
Interesting question for those involved, is the round 1 pass being awarded before the round 2 result?
Some very close numbers there, where we're going to have to wait and see what the TOSS 4 results do to handicaps. I'm pretty sure my 44 last Tuesday is crap, and either won't change my handicap, or will move it up a bit... If I recall correctly, 'dros had a killer round at TOSS3, so his handicap won't move, or will go down. Can't remember Wierdsma's score, so he's a real wild card here... _________________ Go Sens!

Quote: | One Championship Spot Per Player
- Players can only earn one Spot for the 2013 season. During any Qualifying Event, if a player finishes in a position to win a Spot, and has already earned a Spot in a previous Qualifying Event, the Spot will go to the next player down the leaderboard that has not yet earned a Spot.
- Championship Spots are not transferable to another division or to another player.
- Championship Spots will be presented to recipients at the awards ceremony of all Qualifying Events, in the form of a Championship Spot Letter of Congratulations, with instructions on how to proceed in the registration process for The Championship. |
If the same person earns a Spot in each round, the first round would be the one they receive it, and the second place finisher in the second round would receive the Spot.
As per the rules, we will wait until the HCs are updated from TOSS 4. I hope the GOAT doesn't get included in the update. |

Results have been tabulated. I've emailed the adjusted results to Mike for his review.
The adjusted results are based on handicaps following TOSS 4. Round 2 does not include round 1 handicap adjustments, which is the normal practice.
Regards! |

Woot! Thanks Mike McCormick for an awesome tournament!
Also, thanks to Holly, Steve, and Drazen, my cardmates for the first round. No thanks to Hole 10 in the first round, which gave me a 6. :/ Thanks to Eric, Gavin and Mike for being a fun and challenging card in the second round too. Without you guys to challenge against, I may not have been able to pull out that 64.
Congrats to Andros for his great comeback in the second round. See you at the finals! _________________ Go Sens! |
