I know it's a little rainy right now, but I'm still going to be there. As long as we are without lightning we'll be playing! _________________ 1020 rated lunch preparationist |

The sun did, indeed, come out and stay out for this second-to-last night of Rec League.
Nine players out for this lovely evening. Two new junior players, welcome Nick and Cam! These fine young fellas, with the addition of Mike Adams, made up our first Ultra Star division.
Lots of prizes went out tonight!
Steve had the dubious honour of earning both Least Fortunate Incident, for a circle 7 on #9, and Most Honest Golfer. The silver lining to this raincloud of a round is that Steve picks up an Ice Bowl Gateway Magic and a Kanata DGC Wasp.
We had a tie for Best Junior in an Ultra Star Division, which I totally did not make up. Cam and Nick now have themselves each a Kanata DGC Crush. From the way they were throwing those ulti discs, they are going to make those puppies go far.
Even though he shot one worse than his previous best score, McMike came in third for Most Improved, earning himself a Kanata DGC Stratus.
Adrian continued his self-improvement streak by bettering his previous score by three. This won him a super sweet Jess-donated 168 star Valkyrie, a disc which of course I had no problems letting go of and did not covet at all.
A tie for best score saw a little playoff action between Andrew and Cyle. Making a bird putt for probably the third time in his life, Cyle won a Jess-donated OD Island Mystery Disc.
Not only did Andrew tie for best score, but he also improved on his previous Rec League score by nine strokes. Andrew, who seems to get very upset at words that rhyme with "hand-lagger", can add a brand new Soft GT Banger to his bag. Congrats Andrew! _________________ 1020 rated lunch preparationist |

I have that disc. I was told it's a first-run disc, and possibly an SS model. |

Note: I might be wrong about a couple of the prizes. (Made some last minute additions and forgot to write them down).
For example, the Least Fortunate disc was actually a Penton-donated Photon Wildcat. _________________ 1020 rated lunch preparationist |

I also have that disc! What was the "mystery" behind the mystery disc? _________________ Jason Lepack Left-Handed Sandbagger jlepack AT gmail DOT com |

It wasn't marked, so we couldn't tell just by looking at it. _________________ 1020 rated lunch preparationist |

Oh, it just has the OD Tour design on it. That would have been a mystery. Why didn't you ask me? . Oh wait, I was on vacation. _________________ Jason Lepack Left-Handed Sandbagger jlepack AT gmail DOT com

I cannot tell a lie. I totally rainbowed the bunny rabbit tail.
It was so bad that one of my prize discs blushes every time I take it out of the bag. _________________ Don't you miss the days when you used to be nostalgic? |
