Mr. Pytel:

The course, oh the course... She looks incredible, and the clear-out job you've done, especially on 11 and 15 is incredible. Those two holes now look STELLAR!

Thanks Paul for the stats and scores.

Big thank you to John Pytel and his BBQing boys! Course looks great John and the burgers were perfect for the end of the round.

$115 was donated to the JDRF through the green fees raised at TOSS [10]! Thanks so much, John. I know that a lot of coin is spent making the course look as good as it does. This is a very generous donation, seeing that it probably costs +$300 in gas to mow the course, ignoring the time invested.

$65 was raised through the BYCO (Buy Your Card Option). This $$ will also be donated to the JDRF. $180 in total! Add that to the hundreds of dollars donated to the Walk, the money rasied during Ice League and the Ice Bowl and the ODGC is quietly becoming quite the philanthropist, if an organization can be called one.

In a disc golf day and age where "payouts" are questioned and scrutinized, and entitlement to "free" disc golf is rampant, it was great to see players give $5 to payout, and $10 to the betterment of a course and a charity. Not many DG communities would be willing to spend any $$ if they didn't think it was coming back to them three-fold.

The Ottawa Disc Golf Community is on the right track!
